Site activity update – Monday 28 November to Friday 9 December 2022
The underboring works for the new power supply connection are now completed. The next phase of works is pulling new underground cables and reinstatements works between the McKean Street roundabout and the substation on Jensen Road.
Site activity update – Monday 14 to Friday 25 November 2022
Works to connect power supply to the new Clinical Services Building are ongoing. Works include underground investigations into existing Energex conduits, digging at existing pits, and pulling new cables. These works begin at the McKean Street roundabout and continue north along Pettigrew Street to the substation on Jensen Road. Please see map below for alignment and locations of temporary work sites.

Finalisation of road line markings to McKean Street will be installed week commencing Monday 8 November.

The Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment construction sites will not operate on Monday 4 October due to the Queen’s Birthday public holiday.

The project team is adhering to the Queensland Government’s COVID-19 restrictions and essential works continue onsite. Social distancing and cleaning protocols are just some of the measures being followed by the project team to reduce the impact of COVID-19.

The piling rig has been floated from the Clinical Services Building (CSB) site to start work on the Multi-Storey Carpark. Some further demobilisation activities will continue on the CSB site over the next fortnight.

Site Activity Update – Week Commencing 26 October
Installation of a new covered walkway located at the emergency entrance is due for completion in early November. Once complete, patients entering the hospital from the emergency drop-off zone will use the new covered walkway to access the Emergency Entrance.

From Monday 12 October until Thursday 15 October 2020 our project team will be busy installing a new covered walkway connecting the emergency drop-off zone to the front entry into the hospital.

From Tuesday 6 October 2020, stair demolition works, and scaffold removal activities will continue at the front of the hospital.

The main entry into Caboolture Hospital and the public carpark have moved, with access via Mewett Street or Bury Street.

From today (21/09), the main entry into Caboolture Hospital has now relocated to the back of the hospital to make way for the new clinical services building and the new multi-storey carpark.
From late September 2020, the main entry into Caboolture Hospital has been temporarily moved to the rear of the hospital
