The Caboolture Hospital paediatric emergency department provides urgent care and treatment for children aged from birth to 16 years of age when they become seriously unwell and need urgent medical attention.<\/p>\n
It includes a separate waiting area, individual consult rooms, sensory room, entertainment and cultural support is available. Tea and coffee is available for parents and caregivers.<\/p>\n
We provide specialised emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including public holidays.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":"","our_services":"
We offer children\u2019s\u00a0emergency\u00a0medical services for a wide range of conditions. If your child needs to stay in hospital, we have a Paediatric Unit<\/a> with sleeping facilities for parents and carers.<\/p>\n Your child may meet and be cared for by a variety of staff experienced in paediatric emergency medicine.<\/p>\n Our team includes paediatric emergency physicians, paediatricians, nurses, technicians, patient support assistants and allied health staff including dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers and psychologists.<\/p>\n If your child requires surgery or further specialist care, they may be referred to the Queensland Children\u2019s Hospital<\/a> for ongoing treatment.<\/p>\n We have a designated short-term drop off and pick up zone at the front of the Emergency Department (enter via McKean Street) with a maximum stay of 20 minutes.<\/p>\n Our\u00a0parking and transport<\/a>\u00a0page has more information about long stay parking at the hospital.<\/p>\n","include_link_to_healthcare_professionals_section":false,"gd_other_content":false}],"accessing_this_service":[{"variation":"freetext","free_text":" This is a public health service. Caboolture Hospital\u2019s new multi-storey car park is now open.<\/p>\r\n The multi-storey car park \u2013 also known as P2 \u2013 is accessible via both McKean Street and the All-Weather Access Road via Mewett Street.<\/p>\r\n The multi-storey car park allows entry for vehicles up to 2.2 metres and there are no height restrictions to any of the at-grade car parks.<\/p>\r\n Paid parking now
