The Antenatal Day Assessment Service\u00a0(ANDAS) provides specialist care for women during pregnancy. If you have, or if you develop, pregnancy related health issues during your pregnancy you may be asked to attend ANDAS.<\/p>\n
The service is staffed by midwives who provide holistic care in a supportive environment attached to the Maternity ward. They work closely with doctors to monitor the ongoing well-being of you and your baby. ANDAS care is provided in conjunction with your care in the antenatal clinic when closer monitoring, investigation or decision making is required.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":"","our_services":"
The ANDAS team diagnose, treat and manage the care of women throughout pregnancy. Visiting ANDAS can take time while test results are sought and investigations take place. You may need a regular appointment scheduled to monitor your baby, blood or blood pressure. Check with staff regarding the likely length of stay. You may be referred from either the Antenatal Clinics, Maternity Ward, Birthing Suite, your GP, or you may call us yourself with a question or concern.
