The Gynaecology Department provides a wide range of services, including:<\/p>\n
We have a Urodynamics and Pelvic Health Clinic for patients who have symptoms of urinary incontinence. The Pelvic Health Clinic has a specialist team that includes a gynaecologist, physiotherapist and continence therapist as a one stop clinic for patients with urinary incontinence.<\/p>\n
Intrauterine devices (IUDs) are small devices that are put into the uterus (womb). Hormonal IUDs (Mirena or Kyleena) and non-hormonal IUDs (Copper) are available. Both types are very effective and can stay in place for five years for hormonal IUDs, and to ten years for copper devices.<\/p>\n
