All participants are wheelchair dependent with various levels of physical, intellectual, communication, behavioural and developmental health-related issues and receive 24\/7 care, including all activities of daily living.<\/p>\n<p>The centre provides permanent residential care and respite care for clients with both intellectual and physical disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The centre has 20 permanent beds.\u00a0 There are no new permanent admissions.\u00a0 The centre has respite beds for current respite clients.\u00a0 There is no new respite client admissions available. The centre is located next door to the Red Hill Special School.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\" id=\"community-halwyn-centre-services\"><h2>Our services<\/h2>\n<p>As well as meals and accommodation, clients can also access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>24-hour registered nursing care<\/li>\n<li>activity coordinators<\/li>\n<li>social work<\/li>\n<li>speech therapy<\/li>\n<li>dietitian<\/li>\n<li>physiotherapy<\/li>\n<li>occupational therapy<\/li>\n<li>a visiting medical officer (VMO)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><\/div>\n<h2>How to access services<\/h2>\n<div id=\"community-halwyn-centre-access\">\n<p>The service is currently not accepting new permanent or respite clients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><h2>Parking<\/h2>\n<p>Disabled parking only is available on-site.<\/p>\n<\/div><div
