Partnering with patients incorporating health literacy

The Strategic Plan 2016-2020 commits Metro North to embed health literacy in service delivery. As such in 2018 Metro North will implement a project for partnering with patients incorporating health literacy. The project has three components – staff education, a social marketing campaign for consumers to speak up and be involved in decisions about their care and development of tools for managers and leads to create safe and supportive environments.

Metro North Health Forum

This annual forum is a collaboration between MNHHS and Brisbane North PHN. The forum is for people working in acute, primary care and community settings in Metro North as well as consumers partnering with services. The Forum agenda is currently being developed. The 2018 theme is “Connecting for the Future”.
