Many of you will know Louise through her role as Executive Director at Redcliffe Hospital where she has led the team since 2016. Louise brings to us a wealth of knowledge and health executive expertise and she will be a great asset as the leader of Team Royal. I hope you will all join me in warmly welcoming Louise as she commences in the role on\u00a022 February 2023.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to thank you all for providing me with the opportunity to lead you as the Acting Executive Director for the past year.<\/p>\n<p>It has been my absolute privilege to guide us through some really tough and challenging periods such as our COVID-19 response, floods, RBWH Realignment\u00a0Business Case for Change and so much more.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout these milestones, challenges and celebrations, the thing that has shone through to me is the strength of our teamwork across this great hospital. When\u00a0something\u00a0great happens, the first thing our staff tell me about is the amazing team behind what we do \u2013 not just an individual. It\u2019s heart-warming to see our staff raising each other up and demonstrating that hospitals aren\u2019t just places for doctors and nurses to excel.
