\"BrightonIt is always a pleasure to see our staff being very passionate about the care and support that they provide\u00a0to our patients and residents, but also when they are having a bit of fun at work.<\/h4>\n

And, this fun started at the Brighton Wellness Hub\u00a0where some of our members and volunteers decided to have an\u00a0easter hat morning tea.<\/p>\n

These types of events, which are delivered regularly at the Hub provide\u00a0a great deal of social connection and emotional benefit to our members, patients, residents\u00a0and staff.<\/p>\n

\"HalwynThe joy over the break continued at the Halwyn Centre with an easter egg hunt,\u00a0bonnet parade, music, bubbles, sausage sizzle and a lot of laughter and fun\u00a0in the park.<\/p>\n

Sounds like a wonderful day had by our residents and staff, and it is great to see how the upgraded park lift is giving everyone more opportunity to experience the great outdoors at their doorstep.<\/p>\n

Short notice assessment\u00a0update<\/h3>\n

With the mandatory Short Notice Accreditation Assessment commencing\u00a01 July 2023\u00a0the directorate will be provided with 24-hour notice\u00a0of assessment\u00a0covering all eight National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards.<\/p>\n

It is anticipated\u00a0that the first assessment will occur soon after our commencement date so that we gain recertification prior to our current status\u00a0expiring later this year.<\/p>\n

Thank you to all of our staff for their hard work to ensure readiness, especially our Safety and Quality team who have developed a plan\u00a0to identify\u00a0any\u00a0final opportunities for improvement to services, while\u00a0preparing and submitting\u00a0our\u00a0required documentation and evidence to Metro North for submission to ACHS.<\/p>\n

Safety and Quality team members will be spending approximately three days working with service lines in the coming months across both community and oral health.<\/p>\n

A clear focus before 1 July 2023\u00a0includes reviewing:<\/p>\n
