The RBWH Foundation Giving Day on Wednesday 14 June is shaping up to be a knock-out with former world champion boxer Jeff Horn heading the card of special guests for the live Seven Sunrise broadcast with Sam Mac.<\/h4>\n

Members of Team Royal are invited to join the broadcast fun and excitement as audience members from 6am in the ground floor foyer.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeven Sunrise is a fantastic opportunity to show Australia exactly why the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital (RBWH) is a world-class healthcare facility,\u201d said the RBWH Foundation CEO Simone Garske.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will be showcasing our excellence in patient care and life-saving research through interviews with patients and staff. We can\u2019t wait!\u201d<\/p>\n

The RBWH Foundation Giving Day is a 24-hour event that gives Australians the chance to say thank you to RBWH by showing gratitude and raising much-needed funds for patient care projects and life-saving research.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the generosity of matched donors, every donation received up to and including 14 June will be doubled, including the efforts of Team Royal fundraisers. To support an RBWH colleague or service line, head to the RBWH Foundation Giving Day website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ms Garske said signing up to be a volunteer on the day, assisting with a range of activities, was another great way to get involved.<\/p>\n
