Thank you to the more than 10,300 people who have already submitted your surveys.<\/h4>\n<p>The PROV-ED Project has launched new initiatives to support value based healthcare decision making in emergency departments, with videos about each initiative. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/qqgcz\/7997\/VF_8M0.5B9eDzXjzZ7mYzYxRkjBoNLFPs6ijYd1y.html\">Occupational Violence ABC<\/a> developed at the Princess Alexandra Hospital ED,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/qqgcz\/7998\/VF_8M0.5B9eDzXjzZ7mYQ3CNgIviefu67bHn02j2.html\">Criteria Led Discharge<\/a> developed at Redcliffe Hospital ED, and<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/qqgcz\/7999\/VF_8M0.5B9eDzXjzZ7mYCKXbY9t7VkgUs73F7Fkg.html\">Blood Culture Target<\/a> from Gladstone Hospital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They will also soon launch an initiative to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers in emergency departments. For more information or to receive the tool kits for these initiatives, contact <a href=\"mailto:PROVED.Project@health.qld.gov.au\">PROVED.Project@health.qld.gov.au<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Metro North Retail Services who have been recognised by Health and Wellbeing Queensland for consistent high performance against the A Better Choice targets. The team received a certificate of appreciation for their efforts including going above and beyond to ensure the availability of healthier products for staff, patients and visitors in our facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The Retail Services team has worked hard since the introduction of the Healthier Food in Healthcare Facilities Directive, including overhauling menus at food outlets and working with vending machine suppliers and retail tenants to ensure compliance with the A Better Choice strategy. They were even the caterers for the Health and Wellbeing Queensland event in May. Thank you to everyone who helped the Foundation through fundraising activities and donations. As part of the Giving Day, former RBWH patient and chef Matt Golinski visited Herston Biofabrication Institute to learn about the burns research program.
