Professor Dan Chambers, Executive Director Research<\/p><\/div>\n

I am thrilled to present to you the 2022 Metro North Health Research Snapshot Report.<\/a><\/h4>\n

Last year was an exciting year for research at Metro North Health. The 2022 Research Snapshot Report highlights some of the many hundreds of research projects undertaken across Metro North\u2019s facilities throughout the year.\u00a0 The innovative and effective research you will read about in this report is not only improving patient outcomes and experiences, but also cementing our place on the world map as healthcare research leaders.<\/p>\n

Our researchers are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to some of the most pressing healthcare challenges facing our communities, and their work is transforming the way we prevent, diagnose, and treat disease and illness. From developing new treatments for rare diseases to improving the quality of life for patients with chronic conditions, our research teams are making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.<\/p>\n

Through collaborations with academic and industry partners, across the health care sector and with consumer advocates, our researchers are driving breakthroughs in fields such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, infectious diseases, and many others. Their work spans the entire spectrum of research, from basic science to clinical trials and implementation research, and their findings are changing the way we understand and manage diseases, not only in Metro North but around the country and the world.<\/p>\n

\"Research<\/a>We are proud to share these exciting advancements with you and hope that this snapshot inspires and informs future research efforts in the pursuit of better health outcomes for all. I encourage you all to spend some time reading the report and reflecting on the research culture of excellence we have within Metro North.<\/p>\n
