STARS SEALS team<\/p><\/div>\n

STARS Equipment, Advice, Loan Service (SEALS), located in the basement, provides a centralised service for the lending of shared clinical equipment and distribution of a specific range of high cost\/low use consumables across STARS Facility.<\/h4>\n

SEALS provides advice and support to clinical staff on the appropriate function and use of the equipment and available consumables across the hospital. They also champion safe manual handling practices including assistance with training, review and assessment of specialised needs for high acuity\/bariatric patients.<\/p>\n

SEALS works closely with BTS, partners and contractors to facilitate timely repairs, maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure it is clean and ready for use.<\/p>\n

SEALS proudly partners with nursing, allied health and departments to review and assess and facilitate the purchasing of new and replacement equipment to ensure that it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of all departments at STARS.<\/p>\n

SEALS aim is to provide cost efficient, equitable and timely access to equipment and consumables to ensure safe and quality patient care. The SEALS team believe that why we may not be able to change the world, we can certainly change the world for our patients at STARS.<\/p>\n<\/div>
