I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the sessions last week.<\/p>\n<p>There are further sessions being held this week as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday 11 July 12.30pm, Room 476\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/s78xd\/8254\/UHMAHcwEh61hZ6JJwyd2RO4cl_AIH3WrNZJMHn_H.html\">Teams Link\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 12 July 9.30am, Room 716 or <a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/s78xd\/8255\/UHMAHcwEh61hZ6JJwyd2xjInlmH7s2RPTDZYjmy6.html\">Teams Link\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 12 July 10.30am, Room 716\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/s78xd\/8256\/UHMAHcwEh61hZ6JJwyd2nG6qBPC2CSk_fAfY_Jzt.html\">Teams Link<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are unable to attend a session you can also participate (anonymously if you prefer) via the <a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/s78xd\/8278\/UHMAHcwEh61hZ6JJwyd2FWrbRuF_KC6psEAsbPJu.html\">staff survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The feedback provided to date has been extremely helpful and will ensure the impact analysis report identifies the complexities involved in a potential relocation. Much of the feedback has centred around concerns about providing the best possible care to patients and so I thank you for always having the interests of patients in mind.<\/p>\n<p>There were also some questions around the impact analysis process and how some staff felt it was difficult to provide feedback when there are still many unknowns. I recognise we don\u2019t have all the answers yet which is why at this stage the focus is on finding out the opportunities, issues and service challenges in temporarily relocating QSCIS to STARS. Please be reassured that if a decision is made to move to the next step of implementation planning there will be further opportunities for extensive consultation with staff and patients.<\/p>\n<p>Last week we also held a vidcast about the potential relocation of QSCIS, with 50 attendees tuning in. Hopefully the vidcast provided some more background to why the review and impact analysis are taking place and gave staff the opportunity to ask questions.
