Glynis Schultz, Executive Director<\/p><\/div>\n

Today, we welcomed our first oral health patient to the new Caboolture Dental Clinic which is located at the Caboolture Satellite Hospital.<\/h4>\n

Phillipa is a regular patient at Caboolture and was very impressed by the modern new facilities.<\/p>\n

Touring the facility personally, I can’t speak highly enough about the new site, the purpose-built laboratory, new dental chairs, and overall facilities and amenities.<\/p>\n

I’m very sure that all of our oral health staff are very happy about their wonderful new home, and relieved that the move is over and they are caring for their patients.<\/p>\n

Thanks again to everyone involved in the relocation to this shiny new clinic.<\/p>\n

A ‘bloody’ long walk<\/h3>\n

A big congratulations to our Post Acute Care Team from North West who not only completed the\u00a035 km Mito Foundation Fundraiser \u201cThe Bloody Long Walk\u201d recently, they also raised\u00a0$2,364.<\/p>\n

The Mito Foundation, which supports people affected by mitochondrial disease (mito), funds essential research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures of mitochondrial disorders, and increases awareness and education about this devastating disease.<\/p>\n

Compliment for Residential Transition Care Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We regularly receive\u00a0great compliments from our patients, their families and carers, but when I read this compliment from a school-based trainee I just had to share it.<\/p>\n

It is a reflection of the the great team and culture at Residential Transition Care Program at Zillmere, and comes from one of our school-based trainees, Kevin Mathew, who recently completed his training recently after 18 months.<\/p>\n

We hope that we will see Kevin back at COH or pursuing a rewarding Allied Health career after he completes school and has a well-earned break following schoolies.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible opportunity to have had worked as an Allied Health Assistant at Zillmere.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The camaraderie\u00a0and teamwork of the staff have made each day a joy to be apart of. I am immensely thankful for the kindness and patience shown to me by all staff, supervisors and administrators.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Please accept my deepest appreciation for the support, encouragement and guidance you have extended to me throughout my time there.<\/em><\/p>\n

“I will forever cherish the memories, friendships and lessons learnt. I am grateful beyond words for the trust you placed in me and for fostering an environment that nurtures growth and professional development.”<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
