This week, our Executive Leadership team received feedback from the recent Metro North Have your Say staff survey via Jacqui Parle from BPA Analytics.<\/h4>\n

I am pleased to share some of the detail. COH made some good gains from the previous survey with the level of positive engagement with staff having increased significantly since 2021.<\/p>\n

This was reflected initially through our 49 percent response rate with 885 staff responding to the survey, with our Oral Health colleagues having a very high response rate of 62 percent – well done team.<\/p>\n

Significantly, 67 percent of staff surveyed also said that COH is a truly great place to work, a 14.7 percent increase for Community and 31.7 percent increase for Oral Health.<\/p>\n

These are positive results, considering the survey was run in the post-COVID-19 period and during a time of high demand on our services including the work generated by accreditation, mandatories and seasonal service pressures.<\/p>\n

The staff survey has shown an increase in some positive areas that we have been working on, as well as some key themes we will need to focus on in the coming months and year.<\/p>\n

Significantly, 75 staff questions that were responded to had a more positive rating than 2021, and only two questions were rated worse – patient and family bullying and harassment.<\/p>\n
