As CKW continues to grow and evolve, it\u2019s important to define what we want our culture to look like.<\/h4>\n

That\u2019s why I\u2019m excited to share that we recently started the Caring Together: Living our Values Project<\/em>. The project will enable all voices across CKW to define the behaviours and mindsets that make our culture great.<\/p>\n

Building on what\u2019s already special about our culture and defining the values-aligned behaviours that are unique to CKW will enable us to be future-fit for our communities and ensure CKW is a great place to work for every staff member now and in the future.<\/p>\n

What we\u2019ve done so far<\/h3>\n

Earlier this month, leaders from across CKW gathered to define how we best live our values of respect, teamwork, compassion, high-performance and integrity.<\/p>\n

A key output of this workshop was the draft CKW Living our Values Charter<\/em> \u2014 a one-page document that articulates the strengths of our current culture and defines draft key behaviours that will drive the culture we need to care for each other and our patients.<\/p>\n

How you can be involved<\/h3>\n

Following the CKW leadership engagement workshop, myself and the CKW leadership are keen to continue building out our culture and rejuvenating what Caring Together means for us, our patients and our communities into the future.<\/p>\n

There are several ways that you can get involved in the Caring Together: Living our Values Project<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The development of our CKW Living our Values Charter<\/em> takes an iterative approach, meaning with each consultation the draft values charter will be refined with the feedback in real-time. This ensures that at whatever point you provide your feedback, you can be assured that the version you are reviewing has already incorporated feedback from those who have contributed before you. I highly encourage everyone to get involved in at least one of these activities and spread the word to colleagues to also get involved.<\/p>\n

Staff consultation sessions<\/h3>\n

In-person consultation sessions where you can contribute to refining the draft CKW Living our Values Charter<\/em>. You are welcome to join as many as you\u2019d like. More about these next week.<\/p>\n
