Our overall B+ rating was also an improvement on our B result in last year\u2019s survey.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>These results and recent feedback from ACHS assessors suggest that things are moving in the right direction at Redcliffe. At the same time, we know there\u2019s more work to be done \u2013 especially around preventing occupational violence.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>On that subject, thank you to those Redcliffe Hospital staff who participated in the OVP forum at Eaton\u2019s Hill yesterday. After another successful Giving Day, which raised over $200,000, hospital staff were recognised and thanked during a special celebration in MBICC on Wednesday.\u00a0\u00a0<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Among those hospital staff and teams thanked for their outstanding contributions this year were:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Mario Todaro from Health Information Services<\/li>\n<li>Kim Shesgreen from the Palliative Care Unit<\/li>\n<li>Larra Mark from Facility Services<\/li>\n<li>Travis Bell from Metro North Communications<\/li>\n<li>Associate Professor Alka Kothari<\/li>\n<li>Wendy Luttrell and the Allied Health team<\/li>\n<li>Ashley Madden and the team from Critical Care Women&#8217;s and Children&#8217;s Service Line<\/li>\n<li>Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS)<\/li>\n<li>Facility Services and REDDY Fun &amp; Fitness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These contributions and many others have helped raise more than $750,000 since Raise it for Redcliffe was launched just three years ago.<\/p>\n<h3>Raise it for Redcliffe Wishlist Grants<\/h3>\n<p>This week we also launched Raise it for Redcliffe&#8217;s 2023 round of Wishlist Grants.\u00a0\u00a0<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Wishlist Grants offer hospital teams access to grants of up to $10,000 to support eligible projects that provide sustained benefit to patients and\/or staff. This is the fourth time these grants have been offered, and this year Raise it for Redcliffe has a funding pool of $20,000 to support these grants.\u00a0\u00a0<a title=\"Raise it for Redcliffe 2023 Wishlist Grants application form.docx\" href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/19qc6s\/10407\/ZPpXRC6xItXKXaqXCXEuMeY.vYv9C0VpC0RL6rqc.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"1\"><b><i>Find out more about how to apply here.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/a><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital is our philanthropic partnership with the RBWH Foundation, and its success has only been possible thanks to the support of\u00a0hospital staff.<\/p>\n<h3>Perioperative Nurses Week<\/h3>\n<p>Perioperative Nurses Week starts this Sunday, and the team will be celebrating with a morning tea next Tuesday.\u00a0<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Our Perioperative nursing team includes: theatre nurses, anaesthetic nurses, post-anaesthetic nurses, central sterilizing nurses, theatre booking nurses, operating theatre store nurses, and theatre assistants.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>All told, at Redcliffe Hospital, that&#8217;s around 190 people. Queensland Health has appointed TTM Consulting to undertake this research.
