Health adopted a <a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/1g23rr\/11536\/pP4EJ_Z8ig6EkWvqqAkXsEScjQUz4GrmZxu0lwPZ.pdf\">new policy<\/a> to raise our standards when it comes to preventing and responding to workplace sexual harassment.<\/h4>\n<p>As I said in my message on 29 January, this policy heralds new ways of working, shifts in our collective mindsets and behaviours, and establishes a new program of work to systemically address the drivers and enablers of sexual harassment across our network.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to take this opportunity to make it clear that should anyone receive concerns or a complaint about alleged sexual assault and or sexual harassment, the concerns\/allegations must be sent to <a href=\"mailto:MNRespectAtWork@health.qld.gov.au\">MNRespectAtWork@health.qld.gov.au<\/a> within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Where an employee is the subject of such allegations, they will be immediately rostered not required for a period of 21 days (effective immediately) while the multidisciplinary teamwork through assessments, reporting (if required), investigation next steps (if required) and support options available for all parties involved in the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Sexual harassment is not only unwelcome at Metro North Health, it is unlawful.<\/p>\n<p>I welcome this new era of awareness,
