Throughout her career, she\u2019s taken on challenging roles and helped to commission, design and open various food service locations across Metro North.<\/p>\n<p>From serving more than 500 staff three fresh meals a day, to counting and polishing the hospital logo-stamped cutlery, Kathy has played an integral role to not only the health and care of our patients but for staff too.<\/p>\n<p>From kitchen staff member at RBH to Health and Safety &#8211; Rehabilitation Coordinator based at TPCH, Kathy has seen it all!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been an incredible place to work. I\u2019ve always been in great teams and around really fun people. The \u00a0camaraderie we had is something I\u2019ll always treasure,\u201d Kathy said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had some incredible experiences at Metro North, and when I was working in catering every day was an achievement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have just really enjoyed working. It\u2019s as simple as that. I\u2019ve never thought of going anywhere else and have been grateful for the various opportunities I\u2019ve had here at Metro North.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After an incredible 46 years of service with Metro North, with 15 of those years working in Health and Safety within the Injury Management portfolio based at RBH and TPCH providing support and services to staff across Caboolture, Redcliffe, Mental Health, Oral Health and Community, we say good-bye to Kathy as she plans for retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Kathy is looking forward to taking on volunteering roles and spending more time with her family.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, travel is limited at the moment, but Kathy\u2019s hoping to take some relaxing trips in the next few years.
