Anne-Maree Bouwman \u2013 CAPTION: Anne-Maree Bouwman is embracing the newly created role.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bringing with her plenty of experience, Anne-Maree Bouwman has stepped into a new role at the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital (RBWH) – Director Performance and Clinical Services Plan.<\/h4>\n

This newly created role is part of the RBWH Executive Leadership Team, supporting the driving and monitoring of performance across the hospital. It will lead RBWH in strategic and operational planning, working with areas and functions to develop and review service planning and models of care with a key focus on patient, carers, families, staff, and organisational need.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe role will be a key stakeholder in hospital priorities including supporting future service developments across the RBWH campus with contemporary models and service delivery,\u201d Anne-Maree said.<\/p>\n

After more than 20 years in Health, and coming from a strong focus on planning, governance, and performance, she said she is excited to be in a position to set up new functions and services.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to join a dynamic team where I will be able to make a difference and add value to the organisation,\u201d Anne-Marie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first 12 months will be very exciting, working and getting to know people, teams and services across RBWH \u2026 getting a good understanding of our history, where we have come from at service levels, what our current state is and where we want and need to take us into the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are starting a new planning framework that commenced in February and will carry through to the end of the financial year.\u00a0 This will deliver a strong position of where we want to and need to take RBWH over the next 5 years.\u00a0 This will become the RBWH 5-Year Outlook Plan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Away from the job, Anne-Maree finds balance with a different group of stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u201cI live on a little hobby farm with cows, chickens, dogs, and veggie gardens and love the difference between my home life and my busy work life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the country life, both at home and travelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>
