As Executive Sponsor for the Coaching program, I am pleased to share we are making some excellent progress towards building a coaching culture across Metro North Health.<\/h4>\n

When we have employees across various levels and locations who create a safe space for open, honest and constructive conversation, this can only make our workplace and our work relationships better. In my career, coaching has played an important role both in my own professional development but also in my conversations with staff, including my direct reports.<\/p>\n

The Level 1 Coaching Conversation workshops have attracted over 600 Metro North attendees so far, and the numbers continue to grow each month. If you have not already participated in a Coaching Conversations workshop, I encourage you to do so. They are open to everyone and highly valuable. Please register on TMS.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Level 2 Positive Psychology Coaching course is now open for registration<\/a> for those who have completed Level 1, with the first workshop running this month at RBWH and further sessions to be held throughout the year across Metro North sites.<\/p>\n

Our current cohort of employees who have moved through the levels and completed their coaching diploma will be recognised with a graduation breakfast on 11 June. I\u2019m looking forward to celebrating with this amazing group of employees, from a range of roles and Metro North sites, who have become a coach themselves and committed to providing two hours per week of their time to support Metro North employees to achieve their personal and professional goals through one-on-one coaching sessions.<\/p>\n

We are always looking to recruit further Metro North Coaches and will be issuing an Expression of Interest in early June. If you have completed Level 1 of the coaching program and are considering becoming a Metro North Coach, keep an eye out and don\u2019t miss this great development opportunity.<\/p>\n

Acting COO<\/h3>\n

As Jackie mentioned, I will be acting CE for while she\u2019s on leave between 24 April and 9 June 2024. Acting Chief Operating Officer arrangements will be Glynis Schultz from 24 April to 26 May, and Louise Oriti from 27 May to 9 June.<\/p>\n<\/div>
