Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

Two\u00a0new cases\u00a0of COVID-19 have\u00a0been\u00a0confirmed in Queensland overnight, both from the West Moreton region.\u00a0One was a known close contact associated with the Staines Memorial College, with the other a healthcare worker at Ipswich Hospital.\u00a0The contact tracing team is working hard to identify the potential transmission causes and to identify further contacts.<\/p>\n

Whilst it\u00a0is encouraging to only have a small increase in cases today, it is also a timely reminder that we all need to be diligent in our adherence to prevention measures including\u00a0washing your hands<\/strong>,\u00a0staying physically distant, wearing your mask at work and in crowed placed\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0staying home if you\u2019re sick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Today I\u2019d like to\u00a0highlight\u00a0today\u2019s\u00a0mask-wearing tips & tricks\u00a0vidcast\u00a0hosted\u00a0by\u00a0Catherine Watson, Anne Dowe and Meaghan Poulton. Together, the three provided helpful information on how to adjust to wearing masks at work and clever ways to make them more comfortable.\u00a0The\u00a0vidcast\u00a0is already up\u00a0online<\/a>\u00a0for those who missed it so if you have the time, please go and watch.
