--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 200\/300;\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1377\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Glynis Schultz, A\/Executive Director, Community and Oral Health<\/p><\/div>\n<h4>Metro North Health is introducing a new electronic referrals system called <em>Smart Referrals Workflow Solution<\/em> (SRWS) which will go live on Monday 21 March 2022.<\/h4>\n<p>This new system replaces CRU use of MS Outlook to manage Community referrals and the current eReferrals (CCi Portal) used by Central Patient Intake Unit (CPIU) providing improved functionality and patient safety features.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Referrals Workflow Solution is an essential system for Community, and it is a priority for our services that staff involved in referral management and triage are trained to ensure we are able to go live with the system in March.<\/p>\n<p>Evon Greener and Carol Firth, COH Service Operations &amp; Performance resources have been actively pursuing community services to increase awareness and increase training in the system and with only three weeks to go training will be a crucial element to the delivery of this system.<\/p>\n<p>Administration and clinical staff who are involved in referral management and electronic categorisation are asked to prioritise training to ensure the health service can safely transition to the new solution when it goes live.<\/p>\n<p>To make it easier for staff to participate in training, all training is conducted online.
