The internationally recognised researcher has been honoured twice this year, receiving a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen\u2019s Birthday Awards and Honorary Membership of the European Society of Intensive Medicine (ESICM).<\/p>\n<p>Professor Lipman received his AM for his significant service to medicine, anaesthesiology and critical care, and education. His prestigious Honorary Membership of the ESICM recognised his career achievements in relation to science and research, as well as his long-standing commitment to the society. Professor Lipman will be honoured formally during the Opening Ceremony of LIVES 2020 in Madrid this December.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Professor Lipman.
