RBWH\u2019s very own international sepsis experts Professors Jason Roberts, Jeffrey Lipman and Kevin Laupland<\/p><\/div>\n

To mark World Sepsis Day on 13 September 2020, Professors Jeffrey Lipman, Jason Roberts and Kevin Laupland were named international sepsis experts by the independent website Expertscape<\/a>. RBWH intensivists Jeff and Kevin and consultant clinical pharmacist Jason that they were in the top 0.025% of 182,313 published scientists worldwide on the topic of sepsis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving three highly published clinical scientists within our Intensive Care group of clinicians is a phenomenal achievement and must be extremely unique,\u201d said Prof Lipman.<\/p>\n

Not only does this achievement mean that the RBWH Intensive Care Unit has become one of the leaders in the Sepsis research field, it also means RBWH is seen and acknowledged by academics and experts around the world for our work in a disease that causes so much morbidity and mortality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI congratulate my colleagues and thank all the other staff within the RBWH ICU for helping us treat patients with Sepsis,\u201d said Prof Lipman.<\/p>\n
