This is the first edition of Get Redi to be produced in this new format. We think it\u2019s going to make it easier for everyone to access, and a better way of sharing the good news from around our hospital.<\/p>\n<p>In this edition of Get Redi we\u2019re celebrating the launch of our Peer Responder program. We introduced some of our 27 new peer responders at a Staff Forum last month. Our peer responders all volunteered to take on this important responsibility. They\u2019ve all been trained in psychological first aid and been through a selection process to make sure that they\u2019re the right fit for the role.<\/p>\n<p>Another example of doing things differently this year was our Staff Excellence Awards. This year we broadcast them live on Teams, allowing more people than ever able to take part. Congratulations to all of those who receive awards and those who were nominated.<\/p>\n<p>Another success worth celebrating is our Research Symposium. This year was the fourth time the Symposium was held, highlighting the quality and depth of research being undertaken by our staff and at our hospital. A big shift this year was delivering the Symposium in an online format on Teams. By all accounts that worked very well and allowed a wider audience than ever to participate and share the presentations.<\/p>\n<p>In the spirit of taking advantage of online resources, we\u2019ve now updated and refreshed our Redcliffe Hospital QHEPS homepage. A big part of that refresh is a range of new and useful content, especially around our <em><strong>#IamRedcliffe<\/strong><\/em> campaign.
