I\u2019d like to give you a quick update on our Metro North executive team.<\/p>\n

Given everything that\u2019s happening with COVID-19 at The Prince Charles Hospital, Dr Alex Chaudhuri will return full time to his role as Director Infectious Diseases TPCH. I\u2019d like to thank Alex for his time as Acting Chief Medical Officer.\u00a0His expert advice and contribution at the Senior Executive Team has been invaluable over the last 4 months.\u00a0He has also blitzed the vidcast participation rates with 1400 people tuning in last Wednesday.\u00a0Alex will continue to provide\u00a0regular vidcasts with his next one scheduled for tomorrow at 1pm.<\/p>\n

Dr Liz Rushbrook will return to her role as Metro North Chief Medical Officer. Liz will continue in the Incident Controller role this week until Louise O\u2019Riordan, who has recently been appointed to vaccination executive lead, steps in on Monday.<\/p>\n

A huge thank you to Liz for her work over the past 18 months as Incident Controller managing the health service\u2019s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Metro North EOC team has done an enormous amount of work under Liz\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
