Each day we work together through the different challenges and scenarios we are faced with, to ensure we can meet the demands being placed upon us at this time. I thank everyone for their enduring commitment, efforts and flexibility.<br \/>\nWe are certainly seeing what the team at TPCH is made of!<\/h4>\n<h2>Fever Clinics \/ COVID Testing service<\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>Public Fever Clinic<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 8.30am to 4pm, 7 days<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Staff Only Testing Clinic<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 7am to 2pm, Monday to Friday<br \/>\nStaff members can bring family members from their direct household for testing, and must bring their ID badge.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Other Staff Testing Clinics\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nMetro North is also offering a number of staff only testing clinics<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>RBWH Education Centre<\/strong>, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.15pm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Caboolture Hospital staff carpark<\/strong>, Monday to Sunday, 7.30am to 5pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT)<\/h2>\n<p>There is a limited supply of rapid antigen tests across Metro North.<\/p>\n<p>TPCH wishing to access at RAT should visit TPCH\u2019s Staff Only Testing Clinic to discuss their eligibility to receive a RAT. <u>Please note<\/u>: not all staff will be eligible to receive a RAT and may need to access a PCR instead. Staff are asked to respect the advice they receive from the designated clinician at TPCH Staff Testing Clinic regarding their RAT eligibility. Remember, these staff are just following the guidelines in place at this current time, so please show respect at all times.<\/p>\n<h2>Close contacts<\/h2>\n<p>Staff who are identified as close contacts of a COVID-19 positive person may be able to access a RAT from our staff only collection sites:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Brighton Health Campus<\/strong>\u00a0wellness centre, Monday to Friday, 10am \u2013 2pm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital<\/strong>\u00a0outside Pulse Caf\u00e9, Monday to Friday, 9am-4.15pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you meet the close contact criteria, you will need to show your ID and complete registration.<\/p>\n<h2>Fit testing \u2013 P2\/N95 masks<\/h2>\n<p>If you have been fit tested, please wear the mask you have been fit tested for. If you have not been fit tested, please wear a Halyard N95 mask and perform a fit check.<\/p>\n<p>Please refer to the poster below on how to perform a fit check.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/5r02r\/2496\/8i3.ScDDze8ZVmRy7ez499hlbjT7_XOuE1KD04q8.pdf\">How to perform a fit check &#8211; P2\/N95 masks<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>HR Update<\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>COVID-19 Leave<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nUpdated leave options for Queensland Health staff impacted by COVID-19 are now available. Please refer to the following flow charts:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/5r02r\/2549\/8i3.ScDDze8ZVmRy7ez45lxFp58sl3Lhk59IkEio.pdf\">Employee options for leave due to COVID-19<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/5r02r\/2550\/8i3.ScDDze8ZVmRy7ez43f5_pZImDTljVX_LZVh4.pdf\">Leave options for employees with COVID-19 infection<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These documents are also available on QHEPS.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>HR hotline\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nMetro North has increased the capacity of the HR hotline to reduce waiting times. Staff can call the HR hotline on 07&nbsp;3646&nbsp;5500 between 8am and 5pm seven days. The hotline offers clinical advice on returning to work and HR advice about leave entitlements for staff who are COVID positive or a close contact.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Workforce management \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nWith our major focus on the COVID response, where there are staffing shortages in critical areas staff may be redeployed to these areas.
