Please find following some important reminders.<\/p>\n<h2>Fit Testing on the Public Holiday<\/h2>\n<p>Fit Testing will continue tomorrow on the public holiday. All staff can call the Fit Testing Number on <strong>0487&nbsp;537&nbsp;524 <\/strong>to book an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>If line managers and staff have an urgent need please call the number and we will work to arrange Fit Testing as a priority.<\/p>\n<p>And, thank you to our Fit Testers for doing such an amazing job.<\/p>\n<h2>HR Hotline<\/h2>\n<p>Staff should take advantage of the HR Hotline which is open seven days from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm on <strong>3646&nbsp;5500<\/strong> providing advice on returning to work and employee entitlements.<\/p>\n<p>Important COVID-A9 leave options also follow for your information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/637rr\/2610\/xYZHtl9G.u9ylXmXXSEbp5pseTr1yBihEwh4NZNU.pdf\">Employee leave options due to COVID for permanent and fixed-term temporary, full-time and part-time employees<\/a> (current at 7 January 2022) \u00b7<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/637rr\/2611\/xYZHtl9G.u9ylXmXXSEbGh08QU1bYugXuXmsa6Wg.pdf\">Leave options for employees with COVID-19 infection &#8211; employee with positive COVID-19 test or possible COVID-19 infection<\/a> (current at 7 January 2022).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Coping in difficult times<\/h2>\n<p>Please don\u2019t forget that each Thursday staff can Teams into\u00a0the <strong>Staff Psychology Open Door virtual session <\/strong>between <strong>2:30 &#8211; 3:15 pm<\/strong>. The purpose of the sessions is to provide a space for staff to explore coping strategies for wellbeing in the current COVID-19 environment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/637rr\/2596\/xYZHtl9G.u9ylXmXXSEbJQXxIbnxYWTf17rAXO1B.html\">Join the meeting<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Keeping PPE stocks optimal<\/h2>\n<p>Please continue to ensure your services have adequate stock of appropriate masks and PPE for your staff, and that you submit ordering forms prior to running out of stock.<\/p>\n<h2>Wellness Hub will be closed tomorrow<\/h2>\n<p>Please be aware that the Brighton Wellness Hub will be closed tomorrow January 26\u00a0due to the public holiday.\u00a0As a\u00a0result,\u00a0RAT tests will be unable to\u00a0picked\u00a0by staff\u00a0from the Brighton Wellness Hub\u00a0tomorrow.<\/p>\n<h2>Changes to close contact rules<\/h2>\n<p>The changes to the\u00a0testing requirements for critically essential workers have been updated in the:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comms.health.qld.gov.au\/ch\/92002\/637rr\/2613\/xYZHtl9G.u9ylXmXXSEb6cNt.w3MuTrurktkQhvc.html\">Isolation for Diagnosed Cases of COVID-19 and Management of Close Contacts Direction (No. 4)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Details about the change were outlined in yesterday\u2019s Incident Controller&#8217;s message.
