I also really like that you get to see patients at RBWH that you wouldn\u2019t see at other hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve heard great things from people I know who have completed their intern year at RBWH, who have all told me it\u2019s the best place to be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy dad is a doctor and growing up he tried to discourage me from going into the profession because he knew how much hard work is involved. As it turned out, I had a natural interest in science and the human aspect of psychology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was accepted into medicine my dad was actually really excited, which pleasantly surprised me!\u201d Stellina said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m most excited to start taking responsibility and to be a real doctor. As a medical student you are often just an extra person watching on and learning, so I\u2019m really looking forward to being useful and consolidating my interests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Good luck to all of our RBWH interns.
