\"\"TPCH has been ranked a top performer on the global healthcare scale, after earning a position on the World\u2019s Best Hospital 2022 list announced in March.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Published by Newsweek, the World\u2019s Best Hospitals ranking identifies and honours the very best hospitals around the world.<\/p>\n

TPCH received a number of rankings including 8th<\/sup> best hospital in Australia.<\/p>\n

In addition, TPCH\u2019s Heart and Lung Clinic was ranked number 1 in Australia for Cardiology, and our Cardiothoracic Surgical service was ranked number 3 in Australia for cardiac surgery.<\/p>\n

The three data sources were used for the evaluation were:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Hospital recommendations from peers:<\/strong> an international online survey sent to more than 80,000 doctors, hospital managers & health care professionals<\/li>\n
  • Patient experience:<\/strong> surveys measuring patient satisfaction with hospitals<\/li>\n
  • Medical KPIs:<\/strong> patient safety, hygiene measures, and quality of treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Executive Director Tami Photinos said that these rankings were an outstanding achievement for TPCH, particularly for the Heart and Lung Clinic and cardiac surgery.<\/p>\n
