We have a lot to talk about this week and lot of great things coming up in the next few weeks and month worth highlighting.<\/h4>\n

Brisbane North Health Alliance<\/h2>\n

Last week staff from Community and Oral Health participated in an important workshop to brainstorm opportunities across primary and community health care in Metro North.<\/p>\n

With demands on health care growing it was important we joined the Brisbane North PHN to build a shared commitment to community health needs and future collaboration.<\/p>\n

The key focus of this initial workshop was identifying opportunities in acute and sub-acute care, mental health, chronic disease, children\u2019s health and care of the older person.<\/p>\n

The workshop was a great step forward, and I look forward to sharing outcomes of this partnership with the Brisbane North PHN as we continue to develop this health alliance.<\/p>\n

As well as look at future initiatives similar to the successful Falls Prevention collaboration that occurred between the MN Ambulance Service, COH and PHN Care Coordination team.<\/p>\n

Closing the vaccination chapter<\/h2>\n

Last week we closed our vaccination chapter after delivering more than 412,000 COVID-19 vaccinations to individuals as young as five and up to our most elderly citizens.<\/p>\n

This has been an outstanding effort from everyone across our sites, and satellite and pop up clinics. It hasn\u2019t always been easy but it has certainly been worth it.<\/p>\n

As a reasonably frequent visitor to the vaccination hubs, I was impressed in so very<\/strong> many ways:<\/p>\n
