Wheelchairs are checked for anti-theft bars, anti-slip bars and foot protectors.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s program showed that all wheelchairs audited were in either good or fair condition.<\/p>\n<p>QuEST\u2019s program coordinator Mathew Blaney said that the program provides an effective process for reviewing the quantity and quality of wheelchairs; replacement, management and storage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt means we can provide patients and visitors with access to wheelchairs that are operationally safe and meet infection control standards, year in and year out,\u201d Mathew said.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TPCH\u2019s annual Wheelchair and Maintenance program held in March was another success with over 100 wheelchairs audited in a single day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":53,"featured_media":10447,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_searchwp_excluded":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[177],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9368","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tpch-newsletter"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.2 -
