At this month&#8217;s meeting, there were several important changes that we&#8217;d like to share with everyone.<\/h4>\n<h2>Clinical Council Membership<\/h2>\n<p>Earlier this year, we circulated an Expression of Interest inviting staff from all professions to join the Council. This was a major evolution in our Clinical Council, which has now welcomed a wider variety of voices and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Please join us in welcoming these new members to Clinical Council:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Georgina Caldwell &#8211; Midwife<\/li>\n<li>Rebecca Olling \u2013 Domestic and Family Violence Specialist<\/li>\n<li>Saskia Hennes \u2013 Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Team Leader<\/li>\n<li>Michelle Cope \u2013 Director, Health Information Services<\/li>\n<li>Liz Hayward \u2013 Assistant Director, Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Emma Fitzhenry \u2013 NUM, Paediatrics<\/li>\n<li>Dr Michelle Caudwell \u2013 Deputy Director, Orthopaedics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Together with these new members, the Council appointed a new Consumer representative, Jane Geltch, and two First Nations representatives, Peter Fallon and Elwyn Henaway.<\/p>\n<p>The composition of our Clinical Council has never been more professionally diverse. With these new members, we can be confident that the counsel and advice it provides will be of an even higher quality.\u00a0<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Deputy Chair EOI<\/h2>\n<p>At this month&#8217;s meeting, Dr Seema Saddi announced that she would be standing down from the position of Deputy Chair. Dr Saddi will continue as a member of the Council and maintain her strong advocacy for staff wellbeing and wellness initiatives.\u00a0The Council thanked Dr Saddi for her service in the role.<\/p>\n<p>Expressions of Interest are now open for the position of Deputy Chair.
