--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/400;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Monday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> July the Jamieson Trauma Institute (JTI) hosted members of QUT\u2019s former staff group on a site visit at the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The program commenced with presentations by Professor Michael Schuetz and Dr Jason Brown on the core components, challenges and opportunities of Trauma and Burns care followed by guided tours of the Burns Unit, Emergency and Trauma Centre and the Intensive Care Unit.<\/p>\n<p>The visiting members felt as though the visit provided excellent insight into the achievement and future plans for JTI and said that they came away from the visit inspired by the potential of the integrated, system-wide approach which is being adopted to support the work that is occurring.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;
