assess and treat adults with swallowing and communication problems.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":"","our_services":"<p>Inpatient services include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>dysphagia (feeding\/swallowing) assessments<\/li>\n<li>the majority of swallowing assessments are conducted via telehealth (as appropriate)<\/li>\n<li>education on safe feeding\/swallowing strategies<\/li>\n<li>assessment of new communication impairments (speech and language impairments)<\/li>\n<li>education on strategies to improve communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Outpatient services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>there are no Speech Pathology outpatient services available at Kilcoy Hospital<\/li>\n<li>a hospital speech pathologist can help with arranging a referral to a community speech pathologist if required after a hospital admission<\/li>\n<li>alternatively referrals to community speech pathologists can be arranged through your
