Claus Communication brings Christmas cheer to Caboolture Hospital patients<\/h1>\n

Administration Hub collected 201 gifts to be donated to charities<\/p><\/div>\n

Caboolture Hospital staff are making sure Santa doesn\u2019t miss any letters from kids spending the holidays in hospital.<\/h4>\n

The Caboolture Hospital Administration Hub introduced Claus Communication to spread festive cheer and make sure children don\u2019t fret about getting their wish lists to Santa.<\/p>\n

The heart-warming initiative was designed to bring the magic of Christmas to children and patients spending the holidays in hospital.<\/p>\n

A Santa letterbox and special letter templates were set up in the Paediatric Emergency Department, giving young patients the chance to write directly to Santa while receiving care.<\/p>\n

One of the staff behind the initiative, Jessica Barr, the Manager Administration Services, was thrilled that children were getting behind the idea.<\/p>\n

“The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with eight letters to Santa received in the first 24 hours alone,” Jess said.<\/p>\n

“The simple idea has already made a big impact, creating moments of joy and excitement during what can be a challenging time for families.”<\/p>\n

\"\"One of the first participants, patient Skylar was thrilled to learn that Santa\u2019s elves would be collecting her letter and delivering it all the way to the North Pole.<\/p>\n

Her Christmas wish list included a robot, an axolotl toy, a notebook, a new iPad case and a fish tank.<\/p>\n

Skylar will soon receive a personalised reply from Santa, coordinated by the hospital\u2019s administration team.<\/p>\n

Claus Communication is part of a broader Community Christmas theme across Caboolture Hospital.<\/p>\n

Other festive initiatives include an Anonymous Christmas Card Connection, where patients write cards that are shared with other patients throughout the hospital, and a community charity drive collecting gifts for children in partnership with Child Safety Service Centre and Kindness in Care.<\/p>\n
