We specialise in caring for\u00a0older people and\u00a0<\/span>caring for people who need rehabilitation after a disabling illness or injury.<\/span><\/p>\n Our service helps patients regain movement and function to live as independently as possible.\u00a0We work closely with other services across Redcliffe Hospital and other hospitals and facilities within the district to ensure patients are given the best opportunity to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":" We care for patients with the following conditions:<\/p>\n Our services include:<\/p>\n Our healthcare team consists of specialist doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, speech pathologists, allied health assistants and a recreation officer. The Geriatric and Rehabilitation Liaison Service also helps patients access our services across the hospital and at external facilities.<\/p>\n","include_link_to_healthcare_professionals_section":false,"gd_other_content":false}],"accessing_this_service":[{"variation":"freetext","free_text":" To access this service, your GP, medical practitioner or healthcare professional will need to contact the Redcliffe Hospital Geriatric and Rehabilitation Liaison Service (GRLS), complete a referral form and return it to the GRLS at the hospital. The GRLS will then assess your referral and contact you with the outcome.
