We are here to offer our expertise, care and ongoing support.<\/p>\n","conditions_treated":"<ul>\n<li>Bleeding from the vagina and abdominal pain in the early weeks of a confirmed pregnancy<\/li>\n<li>Miscarriage after an ultrasound<\/li>\n<li>Molar pregnancy which has been confirmed following a curette<\/li>\n<li>Suspected ectopic pregnancy. This is a pregnancy which is suspected to be outside the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tube.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","our_services":"","include_link_to_healthcare_professionals_section":false,"gd_other_content":false}],"accessing_this_service":[{"variation":"freetext","free_text":"<p>If you experience severe, heavy vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain when you are less than 20 weeks pregnant, visit your closest Emergency Department (ED) or call Triple Zero (000). \u00a0We don&#8217;t require a doctor\u2019s referral prior to your attendance to the hospital.<\/p>\n<h2>Your appointment<\/h2>\n<p>Prior to your appointment, you will have an ultrasound and blood test to confirm symptoms are due to a miscarriage or another cause.\u00a0During your first appointment your doctor will review your results with you.
