Our staff are committed to providing you with the safest and highest standard of care.\u00a0 We also encourage you to be actively involved in your care and ask a member of staff if you have questions.<\/p>\n All our wards accommodate both public and private patients<\/a>. There are no wards specifically for private patients only. Wards consist of single and shared rooms and are allocated depending on clinical need.<\/p>\n Your items can be easily misplaced in a busy environment. Please bring a container or bag to store your dentures, glasses, hearing or walking aids. Ask staff if you need a denture container.<\/p>\n You may bring small electrical appliances however it is necessary to have these items checked and tagged as electrically safe by a certified electrician prior to admission. Faulty equipment may interfere with the operation of vital medical equipment. You are unable to bring personal television sets into the hospital. Television rental is available.<\/p>\n The hospital does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of, or personal injury from, electrical items you bring with you.<\/p>\n If you require help, you can alert our nursing staff by pressing a button located at your bedside. You will be shown how to use this button by the staff on the ward.<\/p>\n<\/div> Your healthcare team will work together to select the most appropriate medication<\/a> for your care. Please take your up-to-date medicine list and all your medicines, including their original labelled containers where possible. Your community pharmacist or GP can help you to make this list. Your medicine list should include all your medicines, including medicines from pharmacies, supermarkets, health food shops, and alternative therapists.<\/p>\n During your hospital stay, our staff will store your medications in a safe place. However, you will still be able to access them should you need. We may also need to refer to them. We will\u00a0return them to you before you leave. Your hospital pharmacist will discuss what medicines you need to take with you when you leave the hospital, and arrange supply where necessary. Please let your hospital pharmacist know if you are running low on supply at home. Please be aware that while medications during your admission are supplied free-of-charge, charges apply to discharge medications. These charges are similar to what you would pay at your local pharmacy.<\/p>\n We provide meals at the following times:<\/p>\n Redcliffe Hospital is pleased to offer patients or their family members the ability to order meals using their own device through the CBORD Patient app and website<\/a>. CBORD Patient app is an easy way for patients to self-order their meals from a range of healthy and nutritious meals that meet therapeutic and religious dietary requirements.<\/p>\n Nutrition Assistants visit the wards (between 7:00am \u2013 10:00am) and can take a menu selection for patients who prefer or are unable to order using CBORD Patient. If you are staying on the rehabilitation ward, the Nutrition Assistants will visit at approximately 2.00pm each afternoon. Please note we do not take responsibility for food that is brought in by visitors for patients.
