This Plan will articulate an evidence based five-year plan to deliver coordinated, sustainable, responsive and high quality cardiology services for adult residents of Metro North and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>This is a joint project between Heart and Lung Clinical Stream, Directorates and Metro North Health Service Strategy and Planning.\u00a0A planning process has been initiated, with a Project Steering Committee formed and chaired by Professor Peter Hopkins, Executive Director Heart and Lung Clinical Stream. A series of background papers are in development, which will inform the Plan\u2019s strategies and actions, alongside extensive stakeholder consultation which will occur over three phases, to obtain expert opinion relating to planning issues, need and priorities.<\/p>\n<p>Staff that are interested in contributing to the development of the Plan will have an opportunity through the phases of consultation.
