We have doctors, nurses, administrative, and support staff who now all proudly wear the Peer Responder badge,&#8221; Dr Yan said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Each of them volunteered and applied for the role. There was a selection and interview process, and they all went through training in phycological first aid before they were appointed,&#8221; Dr Yan said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Peer Responders don&#8217;t take the place of professional counsellors.
