CKW is proud to be partnering with Clinical Excellence Queensland to deliver the ‘Conversations that make a difference’ virtual sessions. Whether conversations are about safety, processes, behavior or expectations, there are often important things that we need to talk about that can be a bit tricky to discuss.<\/h4>\n

This program has been developed with more than 120 hospital and health service staff to ensure it is practical and relevant in a health context.<\/p>\n

Who is the program for?<\/h2>\n

This program is relevant for all leaders who have conversations with other staff, providers, patients\/consumers, families or the community.<\/p>\n

About the program<\/h2>\n

This program:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • explores various types of conversations that make a difference<\/li>\n
  • outlines barriers to engaging in these conversations, and how we can overcome them<\/li>\n
  • builds skills and confidence to have these conversations through a three-step framework<\/li>\n
  • provides an opportunity for staff to practice the framework<\/li>\n
  • embeds learnings though practical tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Wednesday,9th March 2022 between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm and 13:00 pm to 16:00 pm<\/li>\n
    • Wednesday, 16th March 2022 between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm and 13:00 pm to 16:00 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
