A hospital social worker\u2019s role is to enhance social and emotional functioning through targeted interventions and the mobilisation of services and supports. They provide expert advice, support and intervention in challenging practice areas including child protection, domestic violence, elder abuse and advanced care planning.<\/p>\n

There are currently 52 social workers within TPCH\u2019s Social Work Department at ranging from new graduates to clinicians with over 30 years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n
