It\u2019s been a while since we last spoke to you. We recognise how busy things have been and that many of us have been redeployed to different areas in response to the pandemic.<\/h4>\n

Firstly, we\u2019d like to thank everyone for your hard work and good humour during these times. Last week we were handing out RUOK? Pens and it was an absolute pleasure to see so many happy faces and positive responses to our greetings. Thank you so much!<\/p>\n

Redeployment<\/h2>\n

Like many staff across the hospital, a few of our members have been redeployed to different areas. You might see them around, helping with fit testing or at the Fever Clinic. If you see one of our friendly faces around, be sure to ask us about the Council!<\/p>\n

The Black Dog Institute have published \u201cThe Essential Network for Health Professionals\u201d, designed to help healthcare workers find resources and support to manage burnout and maintain good mental health. Become a Council Member!<\/h2>\n

There are several vacancies in both the Staff Council and the Shadow Council. We would encourage you to apply to RBWH-CC-Secretariat@health.qld.gov.au<\/a> or call the 3647 0720 for additional information. We acknowledge that there are many facilities that do not sit on campus, and we are keen to get representation from you.<\/p>\n
