Often consumers and family members visiting PEC, comment on the white walls and sterile hospital feeling. They report it contributes negatively to their already fragile mental health and some question why we do not have any colour or \u201csomething to look at\u201d on the walls.<\/h4>\n

Kylie Medlin, our valued Mental Health Indigenous Hospital Coordinator, with the support of her team and the A\/NUM Kylie Hall, have collaborated with an Indigenous Artist John Smith Gumbala to brighten up the PEC environment. The impact has already been felt, with the artwork positively starting conversations between consumers and staff.<\/p>\n<\/div>
