The team have introduced two projects &#8211; a recycling program and a Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The Green Team has installed a collection point for take-away cups, which is located in the hospital\u2019s courtyard near the automatic door closest to Pharmacy. Polystyrene cups are not recyclable or biodegradable and must be disposed of with other general waste.<\/p>\n<p>The BYOC initiative aims to reduce the number of single-use (disposable) cups used by the hospital. Staff are encouraged to bring their own cup from home. Read Jonnel\u2019s story (Bring Your Own Cup) to hear about his individual success.<\/p>\n<p>The Green Team has a few more wins under their belt, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>installation of a collection point for used printer cartridges which are then recycled.
