Weekend dental trial starts<\/h2>\n

Metro North Oral Health Services has started a Rapid Access Pathway who patients who present at the emergency department with dental issues. <\/strong><\/p>\n

With the weekend dental clinics commencing mid-September, this team will play an important role in triaging urgent dental cases from the emergency department at Caboolture and Redcliffe hospitals.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Tis the season to be helping others<\/h2>\n

This Christmas the CKW Staff Council will be supporting the St. Vinnie\u2019s Christmas Appeal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, what does that mean? Every work unit within CKW will be invited to voluntarily participate by providing non-perishable food items and gifts for a family in need in our region.<\/p>\n

Families will be identified by our local St. Vinnie\u2019s contacts. For example, Kilcoy and Woodford have 10 identified families \u2013 what a difference we could make to these and other families!<\/p>\n

Further details will be provided later in the year but as a first step it would be great if work units that want to participate discuss it and decide on a local coordinator in preparation (no need to advise this back yet).<\/p>\n
