Professor Tess Cramond Multidisciplinary Pain Centre is a tertiary facility, which is one of five other pain management centres servicing Queensland and northern New South Wales.<\/p>\n<p>We offer a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment, promoting self-management strategies to optimise other pain therapies.<\/p>\n<p>Our programs include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CHANGES: a one day educational program about chronic pain for referred patients.<\/li>\n<li>LIFE (Living Independently Functioning Effectively): an eight week (two days each week) extended outpatient-based pain management program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We provide the following support to health professionals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A telephone advisory service to medical practitioners and domiciliary nurses.<\/li>\n<li>Telephone advice to referring doctors.<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing pain management plan for the GP coordinating the patient\u2019s care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our dedicated team consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a clinical nurse consultant<\/li>\n<li>nursing staff<\/li>\n<li>psychologists<\/li>\n<li>physiotherapists<\/li>\n<li>occupational therapists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our medical specialists are from a range of disciplines including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pain medicine<\/li>\n<li>anaesthesia<\/li>\n<li>psychiatry<\/li>\n<li>rehabilitation medicine<\/li>\n<li>addiction
