Patient Support Officer David keeps everything shipshape at STARS<\/h1>\n

STARS Patient Support Officer, David Meredith<\/p><\/div>\n

David Meredith is one of our fabulous Patient Support Officers at STARS, having been with STARS from the very start.<\/p>\n

David previously worked in patient support in Wyong and Tweed Heads but moved to Queensland to be closer to family.<\/p>\n

For David the shift work associated with his role is something that suits his lifestyle.<\/p>\n

“I’ve worked different shifts over my career but I like the afternoon shift as it gives me time to do things during the day.”<\/p>\n

David works in the clinical and procedural areas at STARS, getting everything shipshape.<\/p>\n

“When you first walk in things can be messy, but I leave it clean, tidy and ready for the nursing staff in the morning.”<\/p>\n

“It is satisfying to know that you’ve done a good job and it is appreciated by the clinical staff.”<\/p>\n

“STARS is a great place to work, the doctors and nurses are very friendly, and our Patient Support Officer team all get on really well.”<\/p>\n

When David is not at work he enjoys reading self-help books.<\/p>\n

“A favourite book is The Four Agreements<\/em> by Don Miguel Ruiz – based on ancient Toltec wisdom.”<\/p>\n

“I also go to a regular Tai chi session in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. I find it very relaxing.”<\/p>\n
